Our Team
Dr. Bernie C. Ranchero, MD, MS, MBA
Dr. Ranchero’s philosophy for medicine is one of shared decision-making with the patient (or caregiver) and physician partnering together. Dr. Ranchero believes the patient-physician relationship is a sacred partnership based upon mutual trust, respect, collaboration, and honest communication. Therapies and medications recommended to patients will be supported by evidence-based medicine and science. He values autonomy and independence; patients ultimately decide how to treat and respect their body and health. Dr. Ranchero has two main goals for his patients: first, maintain or increase quality of life and functionality; second, promote longevity/extend life. Recommendations, advice, and counsel for patients and their families will be based on these two core principles. Preventive medicine is key to both of those principles.
